Brasilia, July 24 (RHC)-- The Brazilian people are the protagonists this Saturday of another stage in the wave of demonstrations demanding the end of the government of Jair Bolsonaro, by adding new demands in a movement that reaches nearly 500 municipalities in the South American country.

In addition to "Out Bolsonaro!", the demonstrators carry the slogans "Vaccine in the arm" and "Food on the plate."   The demands are the extension of immunization against COVID-19 and emergency food aid of at least R $600.

The mobilizations also express outrage over allegations of corruption in the purchase of immunizers and mourning for the nearly 550,000 deaths caused by the viruses.  Demonstrators say that some of these deaths could have been prevented if the federal government had not discouraged vaccinations.
