The first data of the count in Paraguay on Sunday shows the Colorado Party candidates (Santiago Peña-Pedro Alliana) leading the presidential elections, when the vote count reaches 88 percent of the 12,259 polling stations installed.

Asuncion, April 30 (RHC)-- The first data of the count in Paraguay on Sunday shows the Colorado Party candidates (Santiago Peña-Pedro Alliana) leading the presidential elections, when the vote count reaches 88 percent of the 12,259 polling stations installed.

The frontrunners have 44.63 percent of the vote, followed by Efrain Alegre's National Concertation for a New Paraguay with a total of 30 percent.

This Sunday, 45 senators and 30 alternates, 80 deputies and 80 alternates, 17 governors, 257 members and the same number of alternates for Departmental Boards will also be elected (Source: Prensa Latina).
