Ceremony celebrates 15 years of the Plurinational State of Bolivia

La Paz, January 22 (RHC)-- With an ancestral ritual of gratitude to the Pachamama (Mother Earth), the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Plurinational State of Bolivia began on Monday, a ceremony that took place in the atrium of the Casa Grande del Pueblo (Great House of the People) together with national authorities and representatives of social organizations.

The ancestral ceremony began at 8 a.m. local time, on the premises of the Casa Grande del Pueblo, in La Paz with an offering to Mother Earth.

"We celebrate with joy and unity the 15 years of our Plurinational State of Bolivia, here there is a dignified people, here there is a people standing up," wrote the president of the Bolivian government.

Choquehuanca; the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Israel Huaytari; ministers of state; and representatives of different social sectors.

After the ancestral act, the presidential message is expected in the Casa Grande del Pueblo; then, the parade of the social organizations that gathered in the Murillo square for the celebration that will culminate with a musical festival.

President Luis Arce and Vice President David Choquehuanca participated in the ceremony, accompanied by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Israel Hauyatari, and the executive secretary of the Central Obrera Boliviana (COB), Juan Carlos Huarachi.

Also present at the ceremony were the President's cabinet ministers, presidential spokesman Jorge Richter and representatives of several social organizations that support Arce's administration.
