Washington, May 21 (RHC)-- The Trump administration has moved to allow the sale of devices that turn semiautomatic rifles like the AR-15 into fully automatic machine guns.
The Justice Department announced that it had reached a settlement, abandoning a legal fight to ban the device — called forced reset trigger — first brought by the Biden administration.
Gun control groups condemned the move, saying the Trump administration has effectively legalized machine guns.
