Minsk, June 2 (RHC)-- Vladimir Zharko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, met with visiting Cuban Agriculture Minister Gustavo Rodriguez Rollero in Minsk.

Rodriguez Rollero is visiting the European nation, leading a business delegation from the Caribbean state, to review opportunities for bilateral collaboration and trade in the sector.

Vice Premier Zharkó expressed his satisfaction with the state of bilateral relations.  He said that Belorussian companies have traditionally worked with Cuba in the agricultural sector, and are looking to expand cooperation.

A long-time contributor to Cuba's agriculture, Belarus is set to play a key role within the country's economic development plan through 2030.
