President Diaz-Canel concludes visits to 15 Cuban provinces

Havana, March 2(RHC)--Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, has concluded in Mayabeque the tour of the island´s the 15 provinces he began shortly after he took office in April last year. In his tour of Mayabeque he was joined by three vice presidents of the Government and a score of leaders, including ministers and top authorities of national institutions.

In the summary of the visit for the provincial Administration, the Cuban head of state expressed various concepts and definitions, ratifying his call for stronger productive links, for raising agricultural yields to benefit of the population and for linking of universities to economic development

Díaz-Canel also advocated for closer attention to citizens' problems and faster responses to them., and  warned about the the need of fighting bureaucracy.

Regarding existing difficulties in Mayabeque, the president mentioned those related to water supply, the deterioration iof roads and of  health and education infrastructures.
