Activists in Spain express their solidarity with Cuba

Madrid, June 8 (RHC)-- In Spain, participants in the 15th Solidarity with Cuba Meeting expressed their permanent, unconditional support for the Caribbean state.

The two-day solidarity meeting, with sessions in the Madrid municipality of Rivas-Vaciamadrid, coincides with the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Solidarity with Cuba Movement.

Attendees include more than two hundred Movement members, who are debating the achievements of the Cuban Revolution, the country’s cooperation with other nations and peoples all over the world, as well as the ongoing escalation against Cuba by the Trump Administration, and the thinking of late revolutionary leader Fidel Castro.

Cuban hero Fernando González, president of the Havana-based Cuba Friendship Institute (ICAP) is attending the solidarity meeting in Spain as a special guest.
