MINSAP reports 7 747 new COVID-19 infections and 89 deaths

Havana, September 9 (RHC)-- The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported 7,747 new infections with the SARS-Cov-2 virus and 89 deaths in the last hours.

The Ministry said that the Caribbean country has accumulated 720,739 patients with Covid-19 since March 2020, and 6,566 people have lost their lives due to complications related to the pandemic.

Pinar del Rio, Sancti Spiritus, Granma, and Santiago de Cuba were the provinces with the highest cases.

Meanwhile, as of September 7,  15.2 million doses of Cuban vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus, and Abdala, and 4.9 million are fully vaccinated.
