Tel Aviv, July 10 (RHC)-- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, located in the Kirya military complex in Tel Aviv, was evacuated and will remain inoperable for at least four months due to structural renovation work, the Israeli website Walla! reported, citing sources close to the president.

According to the report, infrastructure improvements are being carried out, without which the space will not be able to operate regularly in the coming months.

The work is being carried out following the Iranian attacks in late June, when more than 200 ballistic missiles were launched at Israeli military targets, including the Kirya complex, known as the "Pentagon" of the occupation.

According to The Telegraph, both satellite images and videos corroborated direct hits inside and near the Kirya complex, the former residence of Israel's military general staff.

Tehran launched an unprecedented offensive, in retaliation for previous attacks, targeting strategic Israeli facilities.

Despite the occupation army activating its multi-layered air defenses, according to the British media, at least 10 percent of the Iranian missiles escaped the interceptor network. The occupation forces resisted disclosing precise numbers, so as not to give Iran a tactical advantage.

Iranian ballistic missiles, which reach hypersonic speeds exceeding Mach 5, demonstrated the limitations of the most sophisticated air defense systems on the planet, including Israel's network of Iron Dome, David's Sling, and Arrow 3.

The David's Sling system, designed to neutralize medium-range threats, failed to neutralize all the projectiles, particularly under the weight of simultaneous and massive attacks, prompting a reconsideration of its defensive tactics and accelerated improvements to critical infrastructure. The evacuated building, initially called "Building 22" and later renamed Beit Shimon Peres, served as the residence of the General Staff and the Ministry of Security for decades.

Although many functions were moved to the Matkal Tower years ago, the building still housed the prime minister's office and key areas of the Ministry of Production and Procurement.

Furthermore, an Israeli military official confirmed that Iranian airstrikes hit some Israeli military installations during the 12-day conflict.

This is the first public acknowledgment by the Israeli regime that military sites in the occupied Palestinian territories were attacked by Iran during the 12-day conflict between Israel and Israel, which began on June 13 with the Israeli attack on Iranian military, nuclear, and civilian installations.
