Havana, Sep 17 (RHC) Yolanda Ferrer Gomez, president of the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power, expressed Cuba's rejection of a new pronouncement by the European Parliament against the sovereignty and self-determination of our country.

This Thursday, a debate on the Caribbean nation was imposed, which once again turns this European legislative body into a sad hostage of an aggressive escalation, contrary to the historical positions of respectful dialogue that have prevailed between both parties.

Agreed by the right wing, the text demands sanctions against Cuba for alleged violations of Human Rights and demands that the European Union deal with the joint dialogue commission to address such cases.

In the face of this politicized exercise, which responds to the personal agendas of its promoters, voices were raised in defense of the Cuban reality and in solidarity with our nation. (Source: Radio Reloj)
