The Minister of Domestic Trade, Betsy Díaz, acknowledged that the main weakness in the sector is the lack of scientific culture, according to a television report.

She mentioned among the challenges the need to expand the training of human resources, achieve efficiency in logistics processes and stimulate the advancement of technologies, communication and electronic commerce.

Regarding tourism, the top Leadership highlighted its progress in recent years regarding the use of innovation, due to the design and construction of hotels, the conservation of coastal ecosystems and the use of renewable energies.
