Havana, Jan 12 (RHC)-- The Family Code bill, which will be submitted to widespread consultation from February to next April, is available as of Wednesday, Cuban Justice Minister Oscar Silvera informed.

Silvera said the Official Gazette of the Republic published the draft, which collects the normative body with the changes agreed in the debate of the National Assembly of People's Power (parliament) during the eighth regular session of the 9th Legislature.

"A Code of all rights for all people and with the participation of all," the Minister of Justice wrote on Twitter.

Before its debate in parliament, the code was submitted to consultation with specialists in the legal field and the Central State Administration agencies.

After the analysis with the citizens this year, the parliament must approve a new version, which will be submitted to a popular referendum.
