Cuba's Foreign Minister completes intense agenda of meetings in the U.S.

Havana, Sep 21 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez (pictured) met Wednesday in New York, United States, with Andres Allamand, Secretary General of the Ibero-American Conference.

 

In his Twitter profile, the foreign minister informed that in the contact, carried out as part of his agenda of bilateral meetings in that city, he talked about the importance that the island attaches to the Conference in strengthening inclusive cooperation.

 

The Ibero-American Conference focuses its work on boosting collaboration and promotion of

projects and programs in this field.

 

Its next Summit will be held in March 2023, in the Dominican Republic, under the slogan 'Together towards a fair and sustainable Ibero-America'.

 

On Wednesday, Rodriguez also participated in a ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement on post-pandemic recovery, in the context of the UN General Assembly.

 

At that meeting, he called for unity, cohesion, creativity, and solidarity in defense of collective interests. (Source: PL).
