Foreign Ministers of Cuba and Algeria confirm excellent relations between their countries

Havana, Sep 22 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said Thursday in New York that Cuba and Algeria confirmed in New York the excellent state of their political relations, which will reach six decades in October.

 

According to the official, in a meeting held in that city with his Algerian counterpart, Ramtane Lamamra, they ratified the need to deepen economic and trade ties.

 

Rodriguez also met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Bin Minh, as part of his agenda of bilateral meetings, in the context of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

 

On that occasion, he underscored the close friendship that unites our country with that Indochinese nation, as well as the will to strengthen economic, trade, financial, and cooperation ties.

 

Rodriguez also participated on Thursday in a meeting of foreign ministers and other representatives of the 22 Latin American countries, Spain and Portugal to analyze details of the preparations for the XXVIII Ibero-American Summit, to be held next year in the Dominican Republic. (Source: PL)
