Cuba regrets deaths from a landslide in Colombia

Havana, Dec 6 (RHC) On Tuesday, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez sent condolences to the people and government of Colombia for the deaths caused by the landslide that occurred in the municipality of Pueblo Rico, Risaralda department.

 

In his Twitter account, the foreign minister expressed his solidarity with the families and relatives of the deceased.

 

According to Colombia's National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, the death toll reached 34 on Monday, after a public transport vehicle was buried.

 

So far, the rescue efforts in the area have been hampered by the weather conditions, since the rains have not stopped and more landslides have been registered. (Source: ACN)
