Buenos Aires, Jan 25 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel met Tuesday with his Honduran counterpart Xiomara Castro in Argentina, where they arrived to participate in the VII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

Both presidents met again at this CELAC meeting, which brings together Heads of State and Government, foreign ministers, prime ministers, and representatives of international organizations.

During his intervention in the plenary, Castro raised her voice condemning the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed on Cuba for more than six decades by the United States.

Díaz Canel has had an intense day since he arrived in Buenos Aires last Sunday, on his second visit to Argentina.

On this day he also met with Brazilian President Luis Ignacio Lula Da Silva, who brought his country back to CELAC, after his predecessor, Jair Bolsonaro, decided to exclude himself from this bloc last year. (Source: Prensa Latina).
