Díaz-Canel went to Mexico responding to an invitation by López Obrador, who received him at the airport.

The Mexican president thanked Díaz-Canel and the Cuban people for sending doctors to collaborate in the development of assistance plans, with which Mexico seeks to put itself on a par with the most advanced European countries in the field of public health.

Thus, the Cuban head of State begins his fourth official visit to this nation this Saturday to discuss with López Obrador the issues of collaboration in public healthcare and the supply of ballast for the Mayan train.
