Cuba Única tourism promotion campaign debuts in China

Havana, May 19 (RHC) The Cuba Única promotional campaign officially debuted today in China as part of Cuba's participation in the International Travel Fair in the southern city of Guangzhou, which will run until May 21.

Images and videos with information on this initiative are part of the island's pavilion at the event, which is expected to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the no-chimney industry.

Cuban authorities in Beijing consider the fair a good opportunity to promote the destinations, products and potential of Cuban tourism in the Caribbean region. Cuba Única places the inhabitants, the benefits and values of the Antillean nation at the center of the attractions that distinguish its leisure industry.

Last October, the Chinese public learned about this campaign in the context of the Latin American and Caribbean chapter of the Hola Mundo Mua event in Shanghai.

The Guangzhou International Travel Fair is one of the most important in Asia-Pacific, and it is known as the window of the sphere in the region. In recent years it has been held only online, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fifty hundred countries participate in this edition, and its inauguration was attended by Elizabeth Vela, Minister of Tourism of the Cuban embassy, as a guest of honor. Vela was also received before by Li Bin, director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the southern province of Guangdong. (Source: Prensa Latina)
