Cuba Única campaign generates interest in Bolivian tour operators

La Paz, December 13 (RHC) -- The reality of a weekly flight by Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) from Santa Cruz to Havana is currently an incentive for entrepreneurs from both countries to coordinate their efforts in the Cuba Única promotional campaign.

"With the inaugural flight on October 26, a long-standing desire to connect and unite the two nations has been fulfilled. Bolivians and Cubans now have a direct flight from Santa Cruz to Havana and vice versa," said the Cuban Ambassador to Bolivia, Danilo Sánchez.

During the launch of the "Cuba Única" campaign at the headquarters of this diplomatic mission, Sánchez, along with Janet Ayala, director of the Cuban Tourism Board for the Southern Cone, and Joannia Deguer, first vice president of the Viajes Cuba S.A. business group, highlighted the links between the two countries.

Our dream and hope," said the ambassador, "is that this flight will strengthen the excellent relations between Cuba and Bolivia.

During the press conference, the diplomat also emphasized the desire that BoA's weekly route will promote the exchange of goods, culture and sports.

Since October 26, Bolivian tour operators have also been organizing familiarization trips to different tourist destinations in Cuba, with the participation of companies such as Estropical, Kovar, Cuarta Dimensión and the Bolivian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (ABAVIT).
