Havana, November 10 (RHC) -- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, on Friday verified the performance of programs, works and projects of economic and social impact in the western province of Matanzas.

The dignitary began his tour at the Vaquería 91, of the Empresa Pecuaria Genética de Matanzas, where the young Andy Guerrero Camaraza, a 21-year-old cattle rancher, took over the administration after completing his Active Military Service, and is committed to the efficient management of the livestock.

Likewise, he visited a school in the community of Triunvirato, a beautiful facility that welcomes more than 200 children, from early childhood, primary and secondary levels.

Díaz-Canel also arrived at the Casita Infantil 'Vaqueritos del Futuro', where 22 children from the community are educated. The beautiful toys and furniture of the facility come from the Gabi & Sofi cooperative.

Accompanying the head of state were Susely Morfa González, first secretary of the PCC in the province of Matanzas, Mario Sabines Lorenzo, governor of the territory, and other political and government authorities. (Source: ACN and @PresidenciaCuba)
