Raúl Castro and Díaz-Canel attend last parliamentary session in Cuba

Havana, December 22 (RHC) -- The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Raúl Castro, and President Miguel Díaz-Canel, are attending today the last day of debates of the Second Ordinary Session of the National Assembly of People's Power (parliament).

The presence of Raúl Castro and Díaz-Canel has been permanent in these three days of sessions where core issues for the life of the country have been addressed and which continue today with the presentation of three bills, among them the Public Health bill.

The more than 400 Cuban deputies will also have on the table this day the discussion of the bill on the Military Prosecutor's Office and the bill on the System of Attention to Complaints and Petitions of the people. They will also review the update of the legislative schedule for the coming year.

The parliamentary agenda also foresees the approval of the agency and the provincial government that will render account in July before the National Assembly and that of the agency under high supervision. (Source:PL)
