Havana, January 25 (Web Network)-- Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and Vice President of the Republic, Salvador Valdes Mesa began an official visit to Zimbabwe on Thursday.

"We received a warm welcome. Here we always feel at home," wrote the senior leader in his profile on the social network X.

This is the third occasion in which Valdes Mesa visits the brotherly and friendly African country.

"You are far away from home, but you are at home," his Zimbawnse counterpart, Kembo D.C., assured the vice president. Mohadi, welcoming the Cuban delegation upon its arrival, after three o'clock this afternoon (local time).

"We will carry out an intense program. We hope it will contribute to further deepen our bilateral relations and take them to higher levels in the economic field," Valdés Mesa commented on the same platform.

The Cuban vice-president concluded his official visit to Tanzania on Thursday, where he held meetings at the highest level and the Cuban delegation received many expressions of affection.
