Havana, January 26 (RHC) --The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived Friday in the municipality of Mayarí, in Holguín province, to evaluate work priorities in the economic, social and political order for 2024.

Together with Roberto Morales Ojeda, secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the PCC, the president began his tour of the Empresa Agroindustrial Guatemala, where previously idle areas are home to various crops, reported the X account of the party organization.

On the same social network, the head of state stated that on this day he will also tour localities in the eastern province of Las Tunas.

"Cuba rises every day above the difficulties and believes," said the president in his message, while thanking the people for their welcome in each of the places.

The day before, Díaz-Canel checked the progress of the municipalities of Maisí (Guantánamo) and Río Cauto (Granma), totaling eleven territories visited so far during the last few days. (Source: ACN)
