Cuba advocates regional tourism at Multi-Destination Forum

Havana, June 27 (RHC) The First Multi-Destination Forum in Cuba concludes today at the Meliá Cohiba hotel, aimed at turning borders into tourist connections and enhancing regional cooperation.

Yamily Aldama Valdés, the Cuban deputy minister of tourism, emphasized that Latin America and the Caribbean have a shared cultural heritage, a common history, and a unique potential to become a unified tourist destination.

In this regard, she pointed out that the forum provides a chance to transcend individual initiatives and create collaborative tourism offerings.

The deputy minister called for not only engaging in commerce, but also for creating a legacy by unifying unique routes and experiences.

The event is in line with the guidelines discussed at the meeting of Ministers of Tourism from ALBA – TCP, which was held in the context of FITCuba 2025. (Source: CubaSí)
