The Cuban Five Slated to Visit El Salvador

San Salvador, July 14 (Prensa Latina) -- The Cuban Five will travel to El Salvador next week where they will meet with the Salvadoran Coordinator of Solidarity with Cuba, Salvadoran government officials and diplomatic sources have confirmed.

The Five will arrive in El Salvador on July 21st, following a visit to Nicaragua where they will participate in the celebrations for the anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution on July 19th that ended the dictatorship of Anastasio Somoza in 1979.

In El Salvador, Gerardo, Rene, Ramon, Tony and Fernando will have a busy schedule that includes a visit to the tomb of Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero and the grave of the historical leader of the Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMLN), Shafik Handal.
