Camaguey, September 24 (RHC)-- During a session of the 26th Congress of Orthopedics and Traumatology, taking place in the Cuban city of Camagüey, specialists talked about regenerative medicine techniques which have a high impact in the world.

The use of platelet-rich plasma and stem cell implantation are procedures of this specialty that are successfully used in orthopedics in Cuba and several successful results are presented in exhibitions.

Foreign and Cuban delegates also examined the combination of stem cell implants and the Cuban RALCA mini-fixator patent, used to treat pseudo-osteoarthritis of radius and ulna at the Frank País International Orthopedic Science Complex in Havana.
