Beijing, October 13 (RHC)-- The edition in Chinese language of the book 'Fidel Castro Ruz: Guerrillero del tiempo' (Fidel Castro Ruz: Time Warrior) was presented Tuesday in Beijing, as part of activities on occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cuba.

Published by the Diario del Pueblo publishing house, the book is a compilation of interviews granted by Fidel to Cuban journalist Katiuska Blanco. It includes the Cuban leader's memoirs, from his early childhood until December 1958, the eve of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

At the launching ceremony in the Cuban embassy in Beijing, the Cuban journalist recalled her first meeting with Fidel in 1993. She added that 20 years of thorough research followed into Fidel's family and revolutionary life.

The two-volume compilation was first presented in Cuba in February 2012.

The version in Chinese language includes more than 170 photos of Fidel. It was translated by Song Xiaoping and Xu Shicheng, researchers with the Latin American Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
