Israel's brutal aggression against the population of the Gaza Strip, where the death toll is reaching 25 thousand, mostly children, women and the elderly is provoking diverse reactions everywhere and one of them could be the end of the Arab world's rapprochement process with Tel Aviv.

In his rabid onslaught, which also caused more than 60 thousand wounded and an unrecorded number of missing persons, the Zionist Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is blowing to pieces one of the most cherished foreign policy projects of the United States, his main ally and accomplice.

Until before October 7, 2023, Washington's political and intelligence apparatus seemed to have succeeded in getting the Arab states to follow the Egyptian and Jordanian path of opening up to Israel and begin to set aside the Palestinian cause.

It was in this direction that the administration of Donald Trump began to work, who in January 2020 announced the "Peace for Prosperity" plan and shortly thereafter the "Abraham Accords," which established a set of bilateral ties between Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates with Israel and set aside the Palestinian issue.

The academic, writer and journalist Vijay Prashad, member of the independent news site Globetrotter, recalled in an interesting article that in July 2022 Joseph Biden traveled to Jerusalem where he launched the platform called "i2u2".

This is a project aimed at developing commercial projects between India, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Israel, a step further in the integration of Tel Aviv, now not in political terms, but in economic terms.

Moreover, at a G-20 meeting last year, the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor was founded, with the aim of neutralizing the China-driven Belt and Road Initiative, Prashad pointed out.

The significance of this is that by Saudi Arabia and Israel being part of the plan, whose route would run from Gujarat to Greece, there would be a tacit recognition between the two states, which was precisely Biden's purpose.

The genocide perpetrated by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians in Gaza is a trashing of this process of Arab rapprochement with Israel and a major setback for the White House in its effort to legitimize a state with a clear pirate behavior in the Middle East and other parts of the world.Prashad also points out that the indignation of the people could lead Egypt and Jordan to evaluate their peace agreements with Tel Aviv, which would greatly oxygenate the political environment in that region of the planet.
