Liuba wins Cubadisco Awards with album that includes versions of tunes by Cri-Cri

Havana, May 18 (RHC)-- Cuban singer-songwriter Liuba María Hevia won Cuba’s coveted Cubadisco Awards this year in the category of Best Children’s Music Album for her CD ‘Liuba canta a Gabilondo Soler.’

Released under Bis Music label, the CD includes versions of iconic children’s music tunes by renowned Mexican singer-songwriter Francisco Gabilondo Soler -fondly called Cri-Cri.

This children’s music album is the third and final work of a trilogy that includes also the CDs ‘Liuba canta a Teresita’ and ‘Liuba canta a Maria Elena Walsh’.

This year’s Cubadisco Fair and Awards celebrates the Ibero-American Year of Music and has Spain as guest country of honor.
