"Today we awakened with the first medal of Cuba in the Juegos Olimpicos 2020. Thank you Rafael Alba for the joy!  With you the medal standings of the Island opens and we are sure that we will enjoy many more feats of our athletes.  An embrace for the entire delegation," said the president through his Twitter account.
