The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) reports that Juan Reinaldo Perez Pardo has been appointed as National Baseball Commissioner.

Havana, September 25 (RHC)-- The National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER) has announced that Juan Reinaldo Perez Pardo has been appointed as National Baseball Commissioner.

He is 49 years old, has a degree in Physical Education and Sports, a Master's Degree in Higher Education Sciences and a PhD in Physical Culture Sciences.  He is a baseball specialist, to which he adds a wide experience in the teaching, scientific and management fields.

He has worked as a baseball and softball coach, university professor, methodologist and National Softball Commissioner, a position to which he was promoted in 2016 and from which he has contributed to the realization of competitive, organizational and athlete recruitment successes.

Member of the Technical Advisory Board of INDER, he has had active participation in the national baseball strategy and is characterized by a sustained vocation for self-improvement, which has encouraged his presence in numerous national and international courses.

His mission will be to give continuity to the commendable work carried out by our always beloved Ernesto Reynoso Piñeiro, who unfortunately passed away last April 27 due to complications derived from COVID-19.

Decisions regarding the direction of the National Softball Commission will be reported at a later date.
