Basse Terre, July 1 (PL) - The First Caribbean Games Guadeloupe 2022 will see a great day of medals on Friday, which will come from swimming, athletics and cycling.

In the Baimbridge intercommunal pool, titles will be awarded in the 400 meters combined style, 200 freestyle, 50 breast, 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly, all in both sexes.

In addition, the final of the 800-meter freestyle will be held, but only for women.

On the other hand, athletics will distribute five sets of medals, headed by the queen event, the 100 meters flat, both for men and women.

The other titles in dispute will be the long jump and javelin in the women's category, and the 1,500 meters for men.

The other two finals will be the men's time trial and the women's road race.

Finally, netball will feature the Jamaica-St. Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago-Guadeloupe and St. Lucia-Barbados matches, and futsal will feature the Cuba-Curacao and Guadeloupe-Trinidad and Tobago clashes.

Meanwhile, 3×3 basketball will hold all its preliminaries in both groups, leaving everything ready for the finals the following day.
