Cuba suffers second setback in Norceca volleyball tournament in Edmonton

Havana, September 22 (RHC) - The young Cuban men's volleyball team suffered its second defeat at the Norceca Pan American Final Six Cup, held in Edmonton, after losing in four sets to the host Canadians.

The partials of the northern team's victory were 25-22, 25-20, 23-25 and 25-16.

Cristopher Bryam, with 24 points, was the top scorer for Canada, while for the Cubans the talented opposite Alejandro Miguel Gonzalez, with 19 points, stood out once again.

The Cubans now have one win and two losses and will face the Dominican Republic this Friday in the fourth date of the tournament. On Saturday they close the preliminary phase against the United States.

The two best teams will face each other for the gold medal on Sunday.
