Robertlandy Simón in action

Havana, January 11 (RHC) - Cuban Robertlandy Simón was elected MVP in the most recent victory of Italian volleyball team Piacenza in the volleyball Champions League.

The world volleyball star scored 11 points in Piacenza's 3-0 win over Turkey's Halbank, including 4 blocks and 2 aces.

Although Piacenza's top scorer was world champion Yuri Romano (17 points), Simon's 11 points were very important in different passages of the game, and his effectiveness percentages in all aspects of the game were amazing.
