Havana, April 22 (JIT)-- The mixed and female pairs gave Cuba its first titles in the Caribbean Table Tennis Championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

In the final with a total Cuban accent, Daniela Fonseca and Jorge Moisés Campos took advantage of their greater experience to defeat their teammates Estela Crespo and Adrián Pérez 3-1.

The only Cuban tennis players qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games had previously left Dominican and Guyana couples on the road.

In the women's doubles, the title for Cuba was provided by Daniela and Estela, better in four rounds than their compatriots Rosalba Aguiar and Karla Pérez.

Cuba had previously achieved silver medals in the team events in each sex, and in the men's doubles with Liván Martínez and René Méndez, and must add more prizes in the individual competitions.
