Washington, Jun 21 (RHC) Today, German Borussia Dortmund defeated South African Mamelodi Sundowns 4-3 and took a giant step towards the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in the United States.
The German goals were scored by Felix Nmecha, Serhou Guirassy, Jobe Bellingham, and Khuliso Mudau, while Lucas Ribeiro, Iqraam Rayners, and Lebo Mothiba scored for the defeated team.
With this victory, Dortmund reached four points in Group F of the World Cup, while Mamelodi Sundowns remained stranded in second place in the district with three points, with the Fluminense-Ulsan duel still to be played to close the second round.
