Havana, July 11 (RHC) - The Dominican Republic and Panama will discuss today the final of the Latin American Little League Baseball Series, Junior category (13-14 years old), which since last Saturday is being held in Guatemala.

The Dominican team, who in Group B dominated the second team of the host country 25-0, Nicaragua 7-1, and Honduras 13-1, beat Costa Rica 7-6 in extra-inning in the first semifinal match the day before.

At 09:00 local time, the Caribbeans will face the Panamenians, who come after a 5-3 win over Mexico, a 5-4 win over Curacao, and a 5-4 win over Venezuela.

The champion will represent Latin America at the Junior Baseball World Series to be held August 3-10 in Taylor, Michigan, USA.
