Andres Arauz leads polls for elections in Ecuador

Quito, April 3 (RHC)-- The pollsters Clima Social, Perfiles de Opinión, Eureknow, Ipsos and Omar Maluk all report that the candidate of Unión por la Esperanza (UNES) for the presidency of Ecuador, Andrés Arauz leads the intention of votes.  The polls show that he is ahead of politician Guillermo Lasso for the run-off elections on April 11th.

Clima Social indicated that Andres Arauz received the support of 34.1 percent of respondents, compared to 27.1 percent of the CREO alliance candidate, Guillermo Lasso. At the same time, Perfiles de Opinión reports that the intention to vote for the correista candidate is 37.87 percent, with Lasso receiving 30.19 percent.

Likewise, the pollster Eureknow announced that Andres Arauz would win the general elections with 48 percent of the electorate, while Lasso would obtain 41.50 percent.
