​Clandestine graves wIth skeletal remains discovered in Mexico​

Mexico City, October 24 (RHC)-- The Sixth National Brigade for the Search for Disappeared Persons in Mexico confirmed the location of skeletal remains in different clandestine graves, located in the southern state of Morelos.

In a press conference, Monserrat Castillo, from the National Links Network and the National Brigade for the Search for Persons, indicated that the main discovery was made in the community of Yecapixtla, in the area of Mitlalzingo.

In that place it is presumed that there could be a grave with more corpses, and so far only 800 meters have been explored, but it is suspected that it could be larger, he said.

"We are having a series of very important findings in the place in Yecapixtla, which is shaping up to become a mass grave, a large mass grave in the state, we will continue working, the brigade has not finished its work day in field search," he added.

Castillo affirmed that this entity governed by Cuauhtémoc Blanco has not attended the problem of the disappearance of people in a responsible way from the state cabinet of security and justice.

In the meeting with the media, which occurred during the offering to the victims of violence, mothers looking for their children from this entity and other states of the country, demanded the authorities of the three levels of government to do their job and stop "pretending to work without doing anything."

At least since 2015, this old mine located in the ejido of Mixtlancingo, south of Yecapixtla, was used by organized crime to bury -through the use of backhoe- dozens of corpses. 

The conditions of the land, delimited by a ravine and a scraped hill, show the removal of earth and the use of foreign materials to disappear the people whose remains have been found by families from all over the country since last Monday.
