President Nicolas Maduro sends message to Venezuelans on New Year's Day

Caracas, January 1 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Nicolás Maduro shared his message to the nation on the occasion of the New Year.  The Bolivarian leader affirmed that the protection of the Venezuelan people will continue to be a priority for his government in the coming year.

"The people, to whom we owe all honors, iCaracas, January 1 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Nicolás Maduro shared his message to the nation on the occasion of the New Year.  The Bolivarian leader affirmed that the protection of the Venezuelan people will continue to be a priority for his government in the coming year.n its great majority have confidence once again in Bolivarian Socialism and our commitment to make its process a humanly rewarding experience, as it grows and strengthens and reinvents itself." 

In addition, the Venezuelan president made a balance of the achievements reached by Venezuelans in diverse areas such as culture, sports, economy and the confrontation of the COVID-19, despite the illegal blockade imposed by the United States and its allies.

President Maduro highlighted that they reached the goal of 90 percent of people vaccinated against COVID-19 "with much sacrifice and also with much satisfaction.  We were able to fulfill our goal."

"The year 2021 came loaded with a force that permeated the national spirit and that has stayed with us forever.  It is the force of dignity.  An unforgettable year for its historical content and for what it means for our future," he added.
