China invites Venezuela to participate in a lunar research project

Caracas, April 8 (RHC) Venezuela received with satisfaction the invitation from the Government of China to participate in the International Lunar Research Station project.

Minister for Science and Technology Gabriela Jiménez said in a press release that the Bolivarian Republic thus became the first to be invited to join this important project, which is under development and is scheduled to be built starting 2030.

She stressed that the Strategic Association between Venezuela and China transcends all areas of cooperation and "today constitutes a recognition" of the efforts made by the Bolivarian Government in favor of the country's scientific development.

From Venezuela, said the note, we view with great expectation the results of the recent meeting held between the Bolivarian Space Activities Agency and the National Deep Space Exploration Laboratory of China.

Caracas reiterated in the text the sincere brotherhood, friendship, and solidarity that unites it with the Government of the People's Republic of China, with the "commitment to continue deepening the Strategic Association" that has given so many benefits to our countries. (Source: PL)
