Tel Aviv, January 14 (RHC)-- In Tel Aviv, the Bank of Israel has announced it estimates that about $54 billion (210 billion Israeli shekels) will be spent on the war in Gaza between 2023 and 2025, according to Israel’s Channel 12.

Since October 7th, Israel has invested $6.6 billion (24.7 billion Israeli shekels) on the war, including on reinforcing Israel’s borders and funding for the more than 100,000 people displaced from the north and south of the country, the report said.

Leader Capital Market, Israel’s most significant investment banking and financial advisory firm, previously estimated that the war’s fiscal price tag would be close to 180 billion shekels, and the Finance Ministry has said that the war is costing Israel around $270 million per day.
