Mexico City, October 10 (RHC-NNN) – In the search for the 43 students who went missing last month in the city of Iguala, authorities have uncovered another four mass graves with charred bodies.
It has not yet been determined how many bodies were in the graves and it will reportedly take weeks before the remains are identified.
Last week, local authorities uncovered 28 bodies in six graves. Their identities have yet to be announced.
Federal Attorney General Jesus Murillo Kara said the new graves were in the same area as those discovered last week. So far, 34 people have been detained in connection with the disappearance of the students, among them local police officers.
