Havana, November 10 (PL-RHC)-- The delegation of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People's Army (FARC-EP) called to respect the General Agreement of Havana, and rejected formulas which obstruct the dialogue to end the conflict in the South American nation.

"It is surprising the insistence on imposing formulas absolutely unrelated to the peace talks to end the conflict and ignoring the General Agreement in Havana", stated FARC-EP representative, Ivan Marquez.

The agenda set in the agreement can not be changed capriciously, even less by inadequate policy instruments to meet the agreement's requirements, Marquez said in a statement.

This is the case of so-called draft Statutory Law 94 of 2015 "in which it is regulated the plebiscite for peace", a strange and exotic initiative for the desired effect, never considered by those who have the responsibility to establish countersigning mechanisms what will finally be agreed, he said.

We declined it not only because it is a formula without consultation, but because it is the less conducive of all the initiatives concerning peace.
