Havana, December 3 (RHC)-- Brahim Gali, the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, arrived in Cuba on Sunday for an official visit to the island. Upon his arrival in Havana, he thanked the Cuban people for their solidarity, expressing his pleasure to be visiting the island again and praised the example, resilience and accomplishments of the Cuban people.
The Sahrawi President noted that this visit aims to strengthen relations between the two sister peoples. Gali explained that the Sahrawi people are determined to continue their struggle for full independence from Moroccan occupation, and thanked Cuba for its support in this regard.
During his stay in Cuba, Brahim Gali is set to hold official talks with Cuban authorities and pay tribute to the island's National Hero José Martí.
