Collective work on return to Cuba of stranded by Covid-19 praised

Havana, July 31 (RHC) The general director of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ernesto Soberón, praised the collective work that has allowed the return to Cuba of more than five thousand people stranded by Covid-19.

Only the collective work has been able to guarantee the return of the nationals in 84 flights from 54 countries, Soberón wrote in his Twitter account.

Once in Cuba, everyone will join the collective effort to achieve the control of Covid-19, added the director.

Upon arrival in the largest of the Antilles, in accordance with health protocol, the travelers are transferred to isolation centers, where they remain for 14 days until a possible contagion of the disease is ruled out, which affected more than 2,600 people and left 87 dead.
