Rome, October 25 (RHC)--Another donation of medical materials and supplies coordinated by the Italian-Cuban National Friendship Association Italy-Cuba (ANAIC) left Monday for the island on a Neos airline flight from Milan.

The lot valued at about 90,000 euros is part of the 'For a hug' project and includes visors, masks, gowns, saturators, detergent gel, disinfectant, and sterile gloves, destined for the hospitals of Las Tunas and Santiago de Cuba, the solidarity organization said in a statement.

After thanking the companies Zhou Hui and Zhou Hy, from Milan, and the Poliambulancia Foundation, and the Civil Hospitals of Brescia for their contribution to this donation, ANAIC announced two other shipments next month, including a container by sea.

Last October 4, the first donation left for Cuba as part of 'For a Hug', an initiative promoted by the Association with the Cuban Recording label EGREM, in collaboration with Neos, the Italian Recreational and Cultural Association (ARCI), and Timbalaye folk group.
