President Díaz-Canel delivers inaugural lecture at University 2022

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez today described as an honor to deliver the Inaugural Conference of University 2022, an event that will be held until next Friday in the capital.

Havana, February 7 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez today described as an honor to deliver the Inaugural Conference of University 2022, an event that will be held until next Friday in the capital.

In his official Twitter account, Díaz-Canel noted that the event, which begins on Monday in person and virtually, brings together ministers, rectors, professors and students, Cubans and foreigners, and said that in his speech he will address science and innovation in government management.

"It is an honor to deliver the Inaugural Conference of #Universidad2022, which from today brings together ministers, rectors, professors and students, Cubans and foreigners. I will speak on Science and innovation in governance. Hope to see you #CubaVive."

Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of Cuba, also highlighted on Twitter the start of that important event that will also examine, among other topics, Higher Education and the confrontation with Covid-19.

With the slogan University and Innovation for a sustainable and inclusive development, the event will be attended by 150 foreign delegates from 26 countries.
