Havana, Nov 17 (RHC) President Miguel Diaz-Canel sent a congratulatory message to Cuban students on the occasion of celebrating their international day on Thursday.

The president posted a message on his Twitter account from Algiers, the capital of Algeria, where he began a tour of African, Asian, and European countries.

Dear students: due to the time difference, we are well advanced with work when the day begins in Cuba. So, I can congratulate you with good news: we reached excellent agreements for our economy with the Algerian brothers, Diaz-Canel wrote.

Other Cuban leaders and politicians have congratulated the students, including the secretary of the Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Roberto Morales Ojeda, who said that Cuban students celebrate their day committed to the destiny of the nation.

Prime Minister Manuel Marrero also wished an excellent day, full of celebrations, and described the students as the future of the Revolution.

On International Student Day, special congratulations are extended to all Cuban students, who have always played a leading role in the history of the Homeland, said the president of the National Assembly of People’s Power (parliament), Esteban Lazo. (Source: Prensa Latina).
