Havana, Dec 1 (RHC) Cuba's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (Mincex) authorized the incorporation of a new state entity for the provision of foreign trade services to non-state management forms.

The Official Gazette of the Republic in its Ordinary Edition No. 119 of November 30 reports that the authorization was granted to Empresa de Refrigeración y Calderas, in its abbreviated form (SERIC), a branch of the Ministry of Food Industry (Minal).

To carry out this decision, the single Annex of Resolution 315 "Regulations governing trade relations in operations in freely convertible currency between entities authorized to carry out foreign trade activities to non-state management forms" was amended on August 13, 2020.

SERIC specializes in the production of equipment, the development, and the execution of engineering projects, offering solutions adapted to any energy need, both for thermal energy supply and for refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation, favoring energy efficiency and seeking the highest economic profitability.
